Zusammenfassung:	The pressure gas insulated high voltage circuit breaker is suitable for application in a temperature range of -25 to -40 deg.C. It has a housing containing the switching points. The housing (5) is surrounded by a jacketed envelope (9), through the jacket of which flows a heat convection medium. The jacketed envelope is connected to a pump (12) which provides a forced flow of the heat convection medium. Pref. the envelope is of material with poor conductivity. The metal encapsulation of the circuit breaker forms the housing and it is earthed. If the heat convection medium is circulated in a closed circuit, the latter contains a heat exchanger for temperature equalisation.
