Zusammenfassung:	New lawn-care agents contain (a) 30-60 wt.% clay mineral, (b) 10-30 wt.% colloidal silicic acid, and (c) nutrients comprising 3-7 wt.% N, 2.5-6 wt.% P2O5, 0-6 wt.% K2O and 0-2 wt.% MgO. Used as fertiliser and soil-improving agent for lawns, including home-garden lawns, public spaces, roadside verges, etc. Simple granulation or compaction gives abrasion-resistant granulate formulations without the need for special additives. Compaction followed by comminution gives a product 50-60% of which has a particle size of 1.5-4 mm. Pref. clay minerals are kaolin and bentonite. In an example, a composition contains, per 100 kg, 47.1 kg. bentonite, 22.9 kg (NH4)2SO4, 10.0 kg. potash magnesia (30% K2O, 10% MgO), and 20.0 kg. alkali silicate + phosphoric acid (45 wt.% SiO2, 20 wt.% P2O5).
