Zusammenfassung: | The aerial direction and tuning indicator, for an FM radio receiver, has a two-dimensional display. It has a rectangular tuning panel whose ordinate is calibrated in direction (N, W, S, E) and whose abscissa is calibrated in frequency. A horizontal cursor (2) indicates the direction in which the receiver aerial is pointing, while a vertical cursor (1) indicates the frequency to which the receiver is tuned. The intersection between the two cursors gives the point of best reception for any station. Knobs, (4, 5) control the adjustment of the frequency setting and the aerial direction. A card fitted behind the cursors can show the optimum reception points for several stations. |
