Zusammenfassung:	A vehicle headlamp ensures high light intensity for the undipped light beam. The dipped light intensity is not affected. The lamp filaments (22, 24) are arranged on the optical axis X of the reflector (12) on either side of its focal point (F). The reflector has collar (16) and screen (40) for deflecting light into a zone (30) in the upper part of the lens (18). Hence only reflected light from the undipped beam filament (24) is passed through this zone. The lens zone for this purpose can be smooth or it can have only shallow ridges. This zone ensures that light can reach its maximum distance.
