Zusammenfassung:	The U-shaped metal support clip (1) is covered inside and out b cushioning layers, which are clipped to the profile to prevent damage to the edge of the car. The inner layer (2) has its free ends (5) looped over the edges of the mtal clip while the outer, thicker layer (3) is formed over the profile. The clip strip is made by bending, with the inner layer applied with the strip still flat. Prior to bending, the profiled outer layer is applied and secured with its ends looped over the edges of the strip.
