Zusammenfassung:	Corrosion resistant joints are made between two metal pipes which have an internal lining of plastic. The end of the metal pipes is beaded outwards to form a curved flange; and the inner surface of the flange is pressed against the projecting joint ring surface of a connector by a cap nut; the connector is made of corrosion resistant material. The cap nut applies a high pressure, forcing the plastic lining of the flange against the ring joint. The flange is pref. made by clamping a funnel-shaped die round the end of the pipe and using hand levers to press a plug into the pipe end. The connector pref. has a plastic lining mating with the lining in the pipes. A reliable joint is made, which is completely covered by the plastic lining.
