Zusammenfassung: | The adaptive equaliser, for data channels, has a random or pseudo-random signal generator switched in place of the relevant data channel in order to adjust the equallsing filter's weighting coefficients to channel distortion. A filter simulates the distortion in the channel and connects the generator via c conjugate filter to the filter's input delay line. The generator is also connected via a delay device to the input of a second delay line for undistorted reference signals. The summed output of the equallsing filter is subtracted from the output of the second delay line and the resulting error signal is correlated with a reference to generate the second weighting coefficients. |
