Device for distributing flowable materials - e.g. for fog generation or dispersal, pest control, etc

A flowable material which is to be distributed is located inside an enclosure between a specialised pressurised gas generator and an outlet orifice in the enclosure. The gas generator pref. lies opposite to the outlet orifice. The dividing wall between the material and the gas generator is capable fo being ruptured by the action of the gas generator at least in the vicinities of the gas generator and the outlet orifice. As a result of the rupture the gas enters the material to be dispersed and leaves through the outlet orifices as a mixt. with the material. The materials to be dispersed include fluids, e.g. liquids, solutions, suspensions, emulsions, etc. The device is used for fog dispersal, generation of artificial fog, pest control, marking purposes over the countryside etc. A particular application lies in rockets and grenades. The device operates in any orientation and is designed to work reliably after up to 10 years storage time.
