Zusammenfassung: | The provision of baffles in the path of flames in an oil burner ensures filtering out of unburned particles in the flame, and this leads to their burning by the incandescent baffles. The flame from tube (3) in the boiler (1) strikes the ring-type baffle (5) at a high velocity and raises the temp. of the baffle till it is red hot. The oil particles are ignited on the edge of the flame whose core is turbulized by air oxygen before impinging baffles (6) which have perforations. The flame is then split into partial jets striking the solid angled baffle (7) which divides the flame into two parts. Change of flow direction contributes to ignition of the remaining particles so that the combustion gases reach the flue without pollutants. |
