Zusammenfassung: | A sugar stretching and folding machine has, in its frame two shafts rotating with the same speed in opposite directions. At the free end of these shafts a lever with a bolt is fitted, the bolt being aligned parallel to the axis of the shaft and turning with it, offset to the bolt on the other shaft lever by 180 degrees. A bolt pointing in the opposite direction to the shaft bolts is arranged centrally relatively to them and with its free end in the region of the free ends of the shafts. At least one of the shaft bolts is arranged so that, as they rotate, drawing out and folding over the mass of sugar, the pitch between the tip of the shaft bolt and the tip of the centre bolt can be altered. The mass of sugar is thus displaced axially along the bolts towards a device on the centre bolt, which strips off the mass of sugar on to a conveyor. No manual operations are required for the processing of the sugar during drawing and folding. Prodn. is increased and quality is improved. |
