Zusammenfassung: | The car seat has a sliding adjustment by being mounted on a support rail (2) which is held over a C-shaped rail (1) bolted to the floor. Roller bearings (5) are spaced between the rails, which have interlocking turned over edges for simple and secure guidance, and for securing the seat on the floor. The two rails are coupled together by ratchet bolts (25) through the sides of both rails. The ratchet bolts are fitted to swivel levers (21) attached to the upper rail and operated by a spring loaded manual release lever. The teeth are tapered for a secure lock, and can be doubled up for a stronger support. They hold the two rails together with a force strong enough to support seat belts anchored on the seats themselves. |
