Zusammenfassung: | Tubular plate for lead accumulators, consisting of a porous envelope contg. a current collector made of PH or Pb alloy and formed by a row of individual collectors extending vertically from an end piece fitted with a terminal lug, and where active lead oxide material is located between the collectors and the inner surface of the envelope. The novelty is that the ratio of the length in cm of the tubes to the free cross-section area in cm2 is between 100:1 and 295:1, and that the active material in the tubes has a density inhomogeneity of max. 5%. The pref. ratio is 100-180:1. The plates are vibrated during mfr. to compact the active filling in the tubes; the invention ensures a uniform compaction density along the entire length of the tubes. |
