Twisting machine for making cables - has guides fitted between stationary and rotating sets of twist discs

The twisting machine, for making cables, has groups of parallel twist heads arranged as in 2340351. The angular position of the hole discs (72-75), which rotate continuously in one direction, is changed -- either continuously or in steps -- in the other direction of rotation by an amount equal to 360 deg. or a multiple of 360 deg. Fixed hole discs (80-83) are located before the rotating discs. The following are located between these 2 sets of discs either another set of rotating discs synchronised with the first or cylindrical coaxial guides for the lines or flexible guiding sleeves in the rotating and stationary discs. The advantage lies in reducing electrical coupling between the wires.
