Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A cylinder (1) has a main inlet (7) and a swirl chamber (5) with a separate inlet (11). Fuel is injected (12) into the inlet pipe (10) leading to the swirl chamber where it is ignited by a sparking plug. Air is supplied to the swirl chamber inlet (10) from an injection pump (15). This has a nozzle (21) through which exhaust from the cylinder outlet (13) flows and which is surrounded by an annular air inlet (17). The flow of exhaust through the nozzle pulls air in through this and forces it out at above atmospheric pressure through an annular outlet (20). This increases the air to the swirl chamber at high loads and makes it possible for the whole of the fuel to be supplied through the swirl chamber.
