Zusammenfassung:Thermally crosslinkable copolymers comprise (a) 5-50(wt)% ethylene (b) 30-87% vinyl acetate, (c) 2-10% N-methylolated cpd. (d) 5-20% 1-10C alcohol (meth)acrylate esters (3) 0.5-3% unsatd. carboxylic acids and (of 1 =1% polyunsatd. monomers. The polymers have a Tg of -40 to +10 degrees C. Copolymers are used in prodn. of films, coatings or binders, e.g. for lining fabrics, bonding fibrous webs or finishing textiles. The copolymers are resistant to repeated washing or dry cleaning and have adequate flexibility.
