Cork positioner for beer barrels - has vertically movable air cylinder to actuate plunger

The appliance is for the positioning of a cork is beer barrels. It consists of a charged pressurised air cylinder with cork magazine. The air cylinder (1) is suspended so as to be vertically movable, and its lower end has a tubular sleeve (2) into which projects a plunger actuated by the cylinder. The upper cylinder end carries a retainer plate (3) with grip (4). The tubular sleeve has an aperture in front of the plunger, and a cork feeder (5) which connected second pressurised air cylinder (6) and tubular cork magazine (7). Cork feeder abd cylinder are at right angles to the tubular sleeve while the magazine extends parallel to the first cylinder. A cork fails from the magazine into the feeder, from where it is moved by a pressurised air-charged slide (58) into the sleeve, and rammed by the plunger into the hole (8) of the barrel (9).
