Workpiece finishing machine with offset tool post slide - has turntable with multiple tool rotating head and cross slide for tool approach

The pressing machine has a pressure chuck (9) rotated by a spindle, and pressure rollers caned by a support (1) which can slide along the machine bed. The machine can be used for finishing a workpiece (7) and can be numerically controlled. A turntable (3) turns on the support (1) in a horizontal plane. It carries a tool post (4) which can rotate about a horizontal axis and can be arrested in a number of positions in which tools (5, 6) can be moved into engagement through the longitudinal and cross-slides. Between the support (1) and the turntable (3) a baseplate (2) is firmly connected with the support. The turntable (3) can be turned through up to 360 deg. clockwise and anticlockwise. The tool post (4) can also be turned through 360 deg. clockwise and anti-clockwise. The tool post carries pressure rollers, cutting tools, polishing discs, etc.
