Noise suppression circuit for stored colour TV - mixes attenuated, decayed and inverted input with original input

The noise suppression circuit, for colour television signals obtained from a dynamic memory, compensates phase shifts dependent on the signal amplitude. The signal obtained from the memory is limited, attenuated, delayed and then inverted for mixing with the original signal. The amplitude limiter (2) has an inverting and non-inverting input. The signal obtained from the memory is passed to the non-inverting input and a part of the output fed back over a delay circuit (4) and an attenuator (5) to the inverting input of the limit.
