Zusammenfassung:	1520003 Filter device UNITED TECHNOLOGIES CORP 14 Oct 1975 [25 Oct 1974] 41998/75 Heading BID A device for filtering a portion of a flow of fluid in a conduit, e.g. a portion of a fuel flow to a gas turbine, comprises a conduit 10 with an inlet and outlet and containing a hollow plug 28 mounted axially in the conduit, the plug having an impervious nose portion, a fluid-pervious filtering body portion 34, e.g. of a stainless steel mesh, and an impervious end portion 32 providing a separate outlet 20a for fluid filtered through the plug body portion. In use the fluid flow is accelerated around the plug and sweeps the filter inlet clean. A courser mesh screen 12 of frusto-conical form may be placed upstream of the plug to filter the whole fluid flow.
