The composition preferably also contains a U.V. screening agent having absorption maxima between 290mm and 320mm, e.g. ethyl, propyl, butyl, isobutyl or glyceryl p-aminobenzoate, ethyl or amyl pdimethylaminobenzoate, cinnamic acid esters, 2-ethoxyethyl and 2-ethylhexyl p-methoxycinnamate, dibenzalazine, 2-phenylbenzimidazole- 5-sulphonic acid, menthyl, homomenthyl and phenyl esters of salicylic acid, 4-phenylbenzophenone, 4-phenylbenzophenone-2-carboxylic acid isooctyl ester, 2-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzophenone-5-sulphonic acid, hydroxyphenyl-benztriazole, anthranilic acid menthyl ester, benzylidenecamphor, digalloyl trioleate, 7-oxycoumarin, 6, 7-dioxycoumarin and #-unbelliferoneacetic acid.
