Zusammenfassung: | The metal chlorides used in the electrolyte are calcium, zinc and ammonium chlorides. They are mixed at room temp. and allowed to stand until the mixture thickens to the consistency of the electrolyte layer on the battery negative electrode. The mixture is allowed to stand until it compressive strength reaches 0.05-0.85 Kp/cm2. This electrolyte is then pressed through a funnel at a rate of 0.05 m/s in order to obtain the viscosity necessary for the electrolyte layer application on the electrode. Good physical-mechanical properties are obtd. |
