The mechanism 1-7 shown comprises a shaft 1, levers 3, 5 secured to the shaft 1, and levers 2, 2' pivotable about the shaft 1. An internal cam 7 causes oscillation of the shaft 1 via a roller 6 on the outer end of the lever 3. The consequential oscillations of the lever 5 push the levers 2, 2' downwardly taking therewith the piston rods of the pistons 8, 8'. The distributing valves 10, 10' are operated by cams 14, 14' acting through levers 12, 12' and shafts 11, 11'. Mechanism 1-7 may be replaced by a reciprocating member arranged to compress the levers 2, 2' periodically. |
