Zusammenfassung:	The machining operations are performed on workpieces clamped in palettes. The installation consists of a machine tool with its table connected to a palette changer assembly, fitted with two palette carriers moving in alternating direction in a common vertical plane. A palette conveyor leads to a palette store. The palette carrier changer, conveyor and the palette store are fitted with freely rotatable palette support rollers which are all lined up in vertical planes. The line is also fitted with a workpiece clamping and de-clamping station located between the changer and the store.
