Centrifugal grit blaster for large workpieces - has blasting chamber and oscillating transporter guiding workpiece over grid

The grit blaster is especially suitable for very large work-pieces. It consists of a chamber with in and outlet openings for the workpiece. Centrifuge rotors which throw grit on to the workpiece are mounted above the below a transporter. The oscillating transporter incorporates a grid made from a material with high wear properties. The grid is built up from longitudinal rods and crosspieces which are made from sheet metal bent into a U-section. The grid can be changed to suit the workpiece. The planes of the centrifugal wheels are located between the crosspieces of the grid, and the various centrifugal wheels are mounted in different planes.
