Zusammenfassung:	1467919 Antibiotic 38295 PFIZER Inc 23 July 1975 [9 Aug 1974 17 March 1975] 30877/75 Heading C2C Novel antibiotic 38295 of the formula and salts thereof with cations are prepared by propagating the microorganism Streptomyces hygroscopicus ATCC 31050 at 28-36 C. in an aqueous culture medium containing an assimilable source of C, N and inorganic salts under submerged aerobic conditions until at least 50 mg./l. the antibiotic is obtained, followed optionally by salification. Feed compositions for controlling coccidiosis in poultry or for improving the feed utilization of ruminants and monogastric animals comprise an animal feed and antibiotic 38295 or a salt thereof with a cation.
