Zusammenfassung:The system for automatic recognition of patterns comprises two decision elements; a conversion unit and a segment station unit provide inputs to an analyser. Individual segments of the pattern to be recognised are submitted to a storage register of fixed length accommodating L-bits. Each L-bit segment is passed forward to the L-parallel inputs of a verification network, where each bit is compared with a reference. The comparison circuit for the bits (i, j, k) fromt he register (5) includes a value decoder (42) a storage matrix (44), a parameter decoder (43) and a test counter (47).
