Electronic con.rol for windscreen wipers - with washer control for set interval after end of wash sequence

The windscreen wipers are operated by a motor controlled by an electronic interval timer. This has an astable switching circuit with NPN input transistor and PNP output transistor in cascade. The system provides a simple parking control by shortin out the motor circuit when the park setting reached. It also provides a controlled interval sweep, with controlle delays between sweps. The washer control is linked to the circuit in such a way that the wipers are activated when the washer is switched on. A charged capacitor provides sufficient signal to operate the wipers after the washer is switched off, for a set period, controlled by the delay time of the capacitor.
