Zusammenfassung: | In the common continuous monitoring of the working positions of a number of textile machines, each working position is associated with >=1 measuring position, which delivers >=1 yes/no information concerning the operationally relative processes or conditions. The measuring positions of a group of working positions are incorporated as members of a digital circuit and are connected to a data circuit. The beginning and end of each data circuit are connected to a special central measuring value collecting unit, in which all the steps required for the storage, addressing and recall of the measuring values are carried out. The central measuring value collecting units of several groups are connected by conductors to a central computer in which the data transmitted from the central measured value collecting units are processed. The optimum prodn. speed of a given textile machine e.g. a ring spinning machine can be determined relative to the costs of production stoppages due e.g. to the number of defects such as yarn breaks. In general, such faults are detected at much reduced intervals so that a larger number, caused e.g. by higher spinning speeds, can be economically tolerated. |
