Zusammenfassung:	1516507 Mycobacterial fractions AGENCE NATIONALE DE VALORISATION DE LA RECHERCHE (ANVAR) 20 June 1975 [20 June 1974] 26226/75 Heading ASB A mycobacterial cell fraction having antitumer, anti-viral and adjuvant activity with respect to the immunological response to antigens is produced by a process comprising subjecting a suspension of such cells in a water/organic solvent emulsion to vigorous disintegration separating the cell debris from the emulsion and also the two phases of the emulsion, and freeing from the organic solvent the solid material suspended therein or forming an interphase layer, the solid material forming the fraction desired. The cells may be from Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Mycobacterium kansasii, Mycobacterium phlei or Mycobacterium smegmatis.
