Zusammenfassung: | Cold-water-soluble synthetic sweeteners are produced which contain as sweetening component an L-aspartic acid derivative conventionally used for this purpose. The desired increased solubility in cold water and the elevated bulk density of this synthetic sweetener are achieved by using a salt serving as diluent or fixing agent and processing this in an aqueous medium together with the L-aspartic acid derivative to form a paste which is then dried to form the end product having stable moisture content. The L-aspartic acid derivative preferably used is the methyl ester of L-aspartyl-L-phenylalanine, to which the desired high solubility in cold water is imparted by this novel formulation process. |
