Zusammenfassung:The new technology for the prodn. of selenium photoelements uses precipitation of selenium by an electrolytic process on a base-plate in a very fine distribution. The prepared base-plate serves as anode, while selenium in its stable, grey-black, metallic form is used as the cathode. The electrolyte bath is formed by an appropriate aq. selenium cpd. Subsequent heat treatment forms a barrier layer between selenium and the base-plate metal. Gold and silver may be used for contacting.
