A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material having at least one hydrophilic layer to be dyed and containing, in a hydrophilic layer to be dyed, a dye represented by the following general formula (I): R-(A)n-C-NH-C---C=L- (I) PARALLEL PARALLEL ¦ YNC=O ANGLE N ¦ (CH2)m ¦ Q (L=L)p-C---C-NH-C(A)n-R PARALLEL PARALLEL PARALLEL CNY ¦ ANGLE HON ¦ (CH2)m ¦ Q wherein R represents an alkyl group or an alkenyl group; A represents an imino group (-NH-); Y represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom; Q represents an aryl group substituted with at least one of a sulfo group, a sulfoalkyl group and a carboxy group; L represents a methine group; n represents an integer of 0 to 1, and m and p each represents an integer of 0, 1 or 2; a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing at least one spectrally sensitized silver halide emulsion layer and in at least one hydrophilic layer to be dyed of the photographic light-sensitive material, at least one dye represented by general formula (I) as set forth above; and a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing at least three silver halide emulsion layers having different spectral sensitivities, with at least two of the silver halide emulsion layers being spectrally sensitized and in at least one hydrophilic layer to be dyed of the photographic light-sensitive material, at least one dye represented by general formula (I) as set forth above.
