X-ray film pack for daylight loading - has seal which can be stripped from outside the magazine

To load the magazine (1), a shutter (3) is moved aside, the film pack (6) is slid in through the opening, and a stripper tab (8) is pushed through a light-proofed slot (9) in the back of the magazine. The shutter (3) is closed and the stripper tab (8) pulled to strip the cover from the film pack (6). The magazine is then ready for use. In an alternative design, the stripper tab (8) is fastened to a roller inside the magazine before the shutter (3) is closed, and the pack cover stripped by turning the roller from outside, in the manner of the film transport mechanism of a roll-film camera.
