Zusammenfassung: | The rotating centre (46) is mounted on the tool holder (28) which can be moved parallel to the work spindle. The rotating centre in turn is mounted on a shaft which can slide inside a sleeve, so that the rotating centre can move with the tool holder. A spring is mounted in the sleeve, which acts against the spindle with rotating centre, so that the centre is always kept in engagement with the workpiece. The tool holder is star shaped and can be fixed in various positions. As the support centre remains in engagement with the workpiece, while the cutter, which is mounted on the tool holder is moved inward, a deeper cut can be made, and the machining time can be reduced. |
