Zusammenfassung: | An inventory control system for warehouses, supermarkets etc., based upon a data processing system provides a portable sensing pen unit that permits a line coded label to be read in situ and the data communicated to the central processor. A portable unit is hand held with a sensing pen available to provide data to a terminal with data display facility. A keyboard facility also permits the production of new coded labels. Other portable units provide a connection to a printing station allowing the recording of relevant data e.g. price, quantity etc. A manager terminal monitors the output of all local stations under the control of a central computer to a tape recorder. |
