Zusammenfassung: | Tyres are vulcanised in equipment which has a row of fixed presses, each with a two-part mould closed during the moulding cycle with a bayonet closure, a bellows attached to the bottom mould tool and moved into a recess therein by a ram when the press is opened, a device in the top mould tool to grip the upper bead of the finished tyre before its ejection and consisting of segments on a movable mounting, these segments are moved apart radially by the above ram, a moving locating device with a beam plus key to turn the bayonet closures which are operated by linkages along the frame of the locating device to move the top mould tool, a device to load the raw carcass into the top tool, another to position the locater in relation to each press, and drives for the locater. The ram is mounted on to the moving locater and operates with the bellows and segments on each press in succession, a valve element at the middle of the bellows works with the ram when the bellows moves out of its recess, the ram passes through an opening in the movable mounting of the segments, the valve closes this opening after the ram passes out of the top mould tool, a vertical positioning rod on the locater ejects the moulded tyre from the top tool of each press successively by moving upwards in opposition to the respective movement of the ram. ejection of the bellows and the vulcanised tyres from the upper mould tool in each press, this simplifies the equipment. |
