Electrophotographic copier using toner powder - using toner powder which is electrostatically attracted to the latent image and fused on it

The arrangement concerns an electrophotographic copy image, which when developed is transferred on a final copy support. It has further a flashlamp periodically ignited for consecutive, partial fixing of the whole copy by the lamp radiation. The flashlamp (6) capacitor (LK1), is in a low resistance charging circuit, and the lamp is triggered by a no-voltage switch (NSS) at the instant of mains voltage zero crossing. A switch (a) disconnects the mains at the latest at the instant when the instantaneous voltage value during the half-period following the tripping has reached that of the voltage across the capacitor.
