Insecticide and/or perfume evaporating device - in which a non-resistant outer container encloses resistant insecticide-and or perfume-contg inner containers

Evaporation device for insecticides and/or perfumes consists of a 2-part plastic housing closed on all sides and having openable openings to permit volatilization of the volatile active substances. The housing encloses replaceable containers containing insecticide and/or perfume. The replaceable containers are made of plastic resistant to chemical attack, but the housing is made of less resistant to chemical attack, but the housing is made of less resistant, cheaper plastic. Using different types of plastic for the inner and outer containers reduces production costs. Because it does not come into contact with the active substances, polystyrene can be used for the outer housing, thus permitting a wide range of shapes to be fabricated due to the inherent rigidity of polystyrene. Furthermore, the outer container is more durable than if it were made of e.g. polyethylene. On the other hand, because rigidity is not required, polyethylene can be used for the replaceable inner container which is in contact with the active substance.
