Zusammenfassung:In the application of conductive layers to a pref. insulating substrate. esp. of electrolytic condensers, using organic donor-acceptor complexes, the donor and acceptor components are each dissolved in a solvent in which the second component or the resultant complex is less sol. or insol. and the article to be coated is dipped alternately in the 2 solns. with evapn. each time. Paper made conducting by the 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) complex is used as the dielectric layer between the electrodes of condensers, at least one of which is an anodically oxidised material and pref. coated with the TCNQ complex, pref. using a liq. electrolyte. The process can also be used for the prodn. of electric resistors and electrically conducting filters. The thickness of the coatings can be varied reproducibly down to 1 mm and the particles are of the order of ca. 1 um.
