Zusammenfassung:	The air intake system for an internal combustion piston engine has a distributor housing and suction tubes to individual combustion chambers. The distributor housing is in two parts, at least one part being die cast and both parts having connecting flanges. Inside the distributor housing are mounted curved sections of the suction tubes, coupled to external tube section. Preferably the curved sections are separately produced and secured to the housing part fitted with the external tube sections. The curve tube sections may be formed in one piece with another cast part of the distributor housing.
