Stereo sound reproduction system - has separate units,and frequency bands of both channels are split into at least two bands

At least the lower band of frequencies may be reproduced by a closed loudspeaker cabinet with large loudspeakers (3) at the sides of the cabinet. The loudspeaker cabinet for the upper frequency band (4, 5) can be combined in a unit with the lower frequency loudspeaker cabinet (1, 2); this combined unit can be inserted into the reproduction frame device together with the other units (12-15) to form a compact assembly. There may be two separate lids on the top of the assembly, and there may be control panesl (14, 15) underneath the lids at the front. Alternatively, free standing HF loudspeakers may be used.
