In the embodiment shown unfiltered liquid enters through tube 6, filtrate passes into space 1 and is withdrawn through vertical rotating tube 2 and thickened unfiltered liquid exits through tube 7. Rotor 20 and blade 26 stir material to be filtered and vibrators 12, 14 and 8 vibrate hollow filter 10 with filtering layer. Other embodiments detail hollow rotating, and non rotating filter screens with adjacent stirrers (inside and outside). Figs. 4 and 5 (not shown), and a tubular hollow screen Fig. 4 (not shown).
