Zusammenfassung: | Friction material is produced from the following components (pts. wt.) 100 pt. elastomer 5-50 pt. thermoreactive resin, 2-100 pts. thermoplastic resin 50-400 pts. asbestos flocks, 10-100 pts. filler, 2-400 pt. metal filler and 2-10 pts. cross-linking agent. Suitable elastomers include butadiene-alpha-methylstyrene rubber, acrylonitrilebutadiene rubber, natural rubber, and polychloroprene. The thermoreactive resins are pref. Novolacs and thermoplastic resins include polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polyamides and ABS resins. The friction material has greater elasticity, higher coefficient of friction and reduced specific weight compared to prior material based on formaldehyde-types resins and asbestos fibre. The friction material can be used for brake linings. |
