Zusammenfassung: | Steel tubbing support for use in shield-headed tunnels consists of flanged casings and stiffener ribs parallel to the tunnel axis to absorb the force load, together with a reinforcing section arranged at right angles to this axis. The ribs (4) are located between the casing flange (2) and reinforcing section (3) on the side facing the thrust jacks. The distance between the section and the flange (2a) facing the jacks is preferable greater than that between the section and the flange (2b) on the other side. The reinforcing section should be a U-channel with its legs welded to the casing (5). The ribs on the other hand should only be welded to casing (5) and flange (2a). |
