Printing blocks secured to base - by strip-shaped natural magnets

The base (2), which has the shape of a semicircular saddle, is covered over the area of the blocks to be secured with strip-shaped natural magnets (5) arranged for alternate poles thereof to face the blocks. The strips are secured by adhesive and extend generally in the direction of the axis of the semicircular shape. Pref. the strips are of obtuse angle zig-zag form and they may be made of sintered magnetizable material. The spaces between the strips may be filled with synthetic resin. The base itself may be made of light alloy or synthetic resin.
