Time recording system for factories etc. - with automatic exclusion of work breaks from working time record

The system employs time recorders in which each time record is printed below or next to the preceding one and at the same distance from the latter regardless of the time which has elapsed between the two. The time recording mechanism or the time printing mechanism is disconnected either automatically or by outside intervention during non-working periods. The time printing mechanism is pref. controlled so that it adopts the same starting position at the beginning of each working day regardless of its pattern of operation the previous day. Since the cards are always stamped in the same manner the proper use is easily understood by all.
