Rail seating and bearing for high speed transport - has base plate with side walls and forms recess taking base flange and vertical connecting section

The flexible rail sealing made of elastic dielectric material has surfaces which form and support a recess. This recess is open to the exterior side of the rail on its top side and its interior corresponds to the base flange and the lower part of a vertical section connecting the base and head so that it insulates and stabilizes these rail sections. The rail seating has at least one inner chamber which is adjacent to the rail and a bar in each chamber and has a base plate with a horizontal section and two longitudinal side walls. The chamber(s) and the bar(s) are of rectangular construction with their longest sides parallel to the side walls and the rail. Each bar is a metal-plastics composite giving good dielectric and wearing properties.
