Central alarm unit for motor vehicles with sensors - has sensors attached to parts or areas for monitoring and converting physical variable into electrical signal

Discriminator circuits connected to the sensors produce an output signal when the associated sensor generates a signal indicating an abnormal state of the part or area monitored. Reproduction units display the abnormality by means of the discriminator output signal. An OR gate circuit has its input terminals connected to the output terminals of the discriminator circuits in a number of reproducing circuits for abnormal states. A main alarm units indicates abnormality in response to the OR gate circuit output signal. A checking unit verifies the operating state of the reproducing circuits and a circuit containing the main alarm unit.
