Zusammenfassung: | This football-type game is played by two or more players using a display on a TV screen. Electronic circuitry reckons the position digitally by counting the lines and the conventional 'steps' along the lines, of the TV raster. The circuits generate a 'ball' and touch lines from which the bal ball 'bounces' (a position counter switches from add to subtract or vice-versa). Gaps in the touch lines denote 'goals'. The 'ball' passing through them goes out of play. Each player has a symbol which he can move about the TV screen with potentiometer knobs and also cause to 'kick' the 'ball' away from itself at a speed inversely proportional to the distance between the symbol and the 'ball'. After each 'kick' the player must wait a certain time before he can 'kick' again. |
