Device for the production of covering parts for incorporation in goods road vehicles, in which the covering is applied in a work process by means of a vacuum with the aid of a stroke table and a stroke stamping unit. A knife in a holder is provided which makes a movement relative to the covering material around its protected component, and thus cuts its edge, the knife itself being heatable, preferably electrically. The knife holder, independently of the stroke table and the stroke stamping devices is displaceable both laterally and as to height, so that the knife engages with the edge of the covered component and can cut off upwards the ege of of the covering material.
